Drive: Original Motion Picture Soundtrack | Mondo Records | Pink | /???
I already have one pressing of this, done by Invada Records in the UK. But Mondo promised a “deluxe” edition featuring custom artwork by Tyler Stout. So of course I’m a sucker a ponied up. The pressing was split between an unknown amount of copies on black and a smaller unknown amount of pink. The pink copies being randomly put into mailorder copies. Imagine how stoked I was to get home from tour this morning and open this baby up. Those center labels kick so much ass. I just love this movie and soundtrack. Definitely helped win me over onto the Gosling Team.

Even I had to buy my copy of The Beast in Its Tracks on deluxe vinyl. Clear wax, limited to 1000 copies, hand numbered, comes with a bonus 7” featuring 2 non-album B-sides, a copy of of the album on CD, and a book of lyrics written in Josh’s handwriting (lyric books are “while supplies last”).
Looks like Newbury Comics sold out of their stock. But, some stock was distributed to local record stores all over the US.

A bunch of Third Man goodies showed up in yesterday’s mail, via my Dad. He picked up the Rome 2LP for me when he hit up the Rolling Record Store last week. I’ve been coveting that thing for a year now. He also sent me Vault package #13! Today’s a good day to be my turntable.

RAGC is the side project from Andy Hull (Manchester Orchestra) - a concept band about a 17th century sailor who heads out to sea and returns home to find he’s been cuckolded by his own brother. Hey Jack White - is it “Sixteen Saltines” or “Sixteen Salteens”? Your tracklists and center labels disagree.
The B-side of the 12” version of the “Sixteen Saltines” has a playable etching featuring a cover of U2’s “Love Is Blindness”.
