Oh. My. God.

Since I can no longer eat Chick-Fil-A (1, 2), I had to find a new chicken nugget/sandwich place to satisfy my addiction. One lazy day off from tour in Nashville last summer and I discovered McDougal’s - an amazing local chicken strip restaurant that not only does chicken right without funding anti-gay groups, but offers shaved ice and a free serving of soft-serve ice cream after your meal. Whaaaaat.

My wonderful friends Drew & Alicia of Monkey Ink Design sent me this today. A handmade McDougal’s meal: stitched and painted chicken strips and texas toast, pipe cleaner fries, a hand painted Honey Bee (omfgbestsauce) sauce cup. All served in a tray and liner lifted directly from the restaurant itself. Guys, I love you so damn much. Next time I’m in Nashville, McDougal’s is on me.
