I’m impressed. The mailman showed up today despite 6” of snow and unplowed roads. And on the day I’m supposed to finish moving out of my apartment. I was lucky enough to track down a copy of this record WITH the cover (got one without the cover off ebay a couple weeks ago). My Russian Circles collection nears...
Somebody…anybody..in Australia or New Zealand. Buy this print for me at Soundwave Fest or any of the Isis/Baroness shows coming up. I will happily pay you back for it plus shipping to the US. Please please please please.

I discovered A Cold Dead Body when someone mentioned them over on AfterThePostRock. They’re based from Italy and play a metal influenced instrumental rock with some string instruments, most notably violin, and some vocals, too. I really enjoyed what little music they had available for me...

Within 5 minutes of each other this morning - I find out that Portugal. The Man is playing DC about a week before I move to (their city! Portland. And then I find out that Caspian is doing a US tour in the fall with God Is An Astronaut. I can feel my adrenaline pumping from excitement.
Get on both of these bands if you’re not already. They released two of my favorite records of 2009

YEAH. My wife rules. We went halfsies on these two prints and she snagged them as soon as they went on sale over at Burlesque Design while she was at work today. Good thing, too - they sold out in 13 minutes. They’re gonna look dope as hell in our new apartment once I find the perfect frames for them.
